Station 47
Station 47, constructed in 1958, this station covers the south western portion of Miami Township. It is located at 8600 Miamisburg-Springboro Road and is directly in front of the Miami Township Service Department. It currently sits on the boundary line between Miami Township and the City of Miamisburg.

Engine 47, a 1982 American LaFrance, seats four and is equipped with a 1500 GPM pump, 500 gallon water tank and a heavy duty master stream device. Engine 47 also is a second due piece of apparatus into the business district of Miami Township.

Medic 47, 2001 McCoy Miller, is an ALS equipped medical unit.

 

 

Station 48
Station 48

Station 48, constructed in 1960, this station covers the North East and central portions of Miami Township. It is located at 5204 Springboro Pike. One engine, one medic and the Division’s rescue boats are housed at this station.

Engine 48, a 2004 Pierce Enforcer, seats 6 and is equipped with a 1500 GPM pump, 750 gallon water tank and vehicle rescue tools.

Rescue Boats
Rescue Boats

Miami Township is divided by the Great Miami River, Miami Township trains routinely in water rescue techniques when a water emergency occurs. The Rescue Boats cache consists of one hard bottom, two inflatable boats and all the associated water rescue equipment.

Station 49, constructed in 1953, covers the North western portion of Miami Township. It is located at 516 Upper Miamisburg Road. One engine and one ALS medical unit is housed at this station.

Engine 49, a 1997 KME/ Spartan, seat 6 and is equipped with a 1000 GPM pump, 1000 gallon water tank and equipment for rural water operations.

Station 50
Station 50

Fire Headquarters, constructed in 1971, covers the south-east and south-central portions of Miami Township. It is located at 2700 Lyons Road, adjacent to the new Miami Township Administration Building and Police Department. The response district is a blend of business, light industrial and residential properties. One truck / engine and an ALS medic company as well as the Division’s are staffed from this location.

Engine 50, a 1995 KME / Spartan, seats 5 and is equipped with a 1250 GPM pump, 1000 gallon water tank and equipment for rural water operations. It also serves as the fill-in piece of apparatus while other engine/truck companies are out of service due to preventive maintenance work.

Truck 50, a 2006 Pierce Arrow XT, seats 6 and is equipped with a 105’ foot aerial, 2000 GPM pump, 300 gallon water tank and vehicle rescue tools.

Medic 50, a 2005 Road Rescue, is an ALS equipped medical unit.

 

Battalion 50
Battalion 50

Battalion 50, a 2004 Ford Excursion, operates from Station 50 and is used by the on-duty shift commander. It is equipped with a variety of tools to assist the incident commander and provide a place to establish an incident command post.

 

Car1

Car 1, Operates as the vehicle for the Chief of the Fire Department.

 

Car 2

Car 2, Operates as the vehicle for the Deputy Chief of Operations.

 

Car 3

Car 3, Operates as the vehicle for the Fire Marshal.

 

Car 4

Car 4, Operates as the primary towing vehicle for the rescue boats and trailers.
